Effective 1 Oct 2026. Please read these terms. By using Shubh Bazaar you agree to them. These terms are a first version and are being reviewed.
1. Who we are
Shubh Bazaar is operated by the company that runs Shubh Muhrat (details to be confirmed), registered office our registered office (address to be confirmed), GSTIN to be confirmed ("we", "us"). It is part of Shubh Muhrat.
2. Using Shubh Bazaar
You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract. Give accurate information, keep your sign-in safe and tell us at once if you think someone else has used your account. One person, one account. You may browse without an account; to save, enquire, book or list a business you must sign in with a verified phone number.
3. What we are - and are not
We run a marketplace that helps families and vendors find each other, talk, agree a price, sign a booking contract and pay. The service itself - the photography, the catering, the venue - is provided by the vendor, and the booking contract is between you and the vendor. We hold payments and decide disputes as these terms describe, but we do not provide the vendor's service and we do not guarantee any particular vendor.
4. Quotes, bookings and contracts
A quote is the vendor's offer. When you accept it, the booking and its contract are created, both sides confirm in the app, and the date is held for you. A click-to-accept confirmation in the app records your agreement; it is not a qualified electronic signature. A co-planner or planner acting for you needs the event owner's approval to accept a quote or pay.
5. Payments, fees and taxes
You pay in the stages set in the quote, through Shubh Bazaar. Before you pay we show every amount: the vendor's price, taxes, any Shubh Assured fee and any convenience fee. We hold the money and release it to the vendor when each stage falls due; vendors are paid out to their bank account after release. Do not pay vendors outside Shubh Bazaar: outside payments are not protected and we cannot help recover them.
6. Cancellations and refunds
Each vendor sets a cancellation policy that you see before you book. When you cancel, you see the refund before you confirm. If a vendor cancels, you are refunded in full. For Shubh Assured bookings we look for a replacement vendor; if none is found within 48 hours you are refunded in full and receive an assurance credit. Refunds go to the original payment method.
7. Reviews and content
Reviews must be honest and about a real experience. We moderate, publish good and bad alike and may remove content that breaks our rules. You keep ownership of what you upload and give us a licence to show it on Shubh Bazaar. Vendors must own or have the right to use every photo they upload.
8. Vendors
Vendors must give true information about their business, keep their calendar and prices up to date, answer enquiries promptly, honour accepted bookings and not take customers or payments outside Shubh Bazaar. Verification, badges, plans, credits, commissions and payouts are described on the vendor pages and in the plan you choose.
9. What you must not do
No fake accounts or reviews, no harassment, no sharing of other people's personal details, no scraping or automated use, no attempts to get around fees, and nothing illegal.
10. Suspension
We may pause or close an account or listing that breaks these terms or puts others at risk, and we tell you why. You can close your account at any time from Account.
11. Liability
We are not liable for what a vendor does or fails to do, beyond what the law requires and the protections described in these terms. Nothing here limits any right you have as a consumer under Indian law.
12. Changes
We may update these terms; the date above changes and, for material changes, we tell you before they apply.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the courts at our registered office, without affecting your rights under consumer law.
