Sponsored listings policy
Vendors can pay to be shown more. Here is exactly what that does - and what it never does.
Always labelled
Every paid placement carries the word Sponsored. Tap "Why am I seeing this?" on a sponsored card to see why it appeared.
Fixed places
Sponsored vendors appear only at positions 2 and 7 in every block of ten results - never at the very top, and never mixed into the order of the other results.
They must match your search
A sponsored vendor is shown only if it is a real result of what you searched for - the category, place, date, budget and every filter you set.
Payment never changes the organic order
The ranking of all other results depends only on fit, quality and responsiveness minus penalties. Buying a plan, credits or a campaign never moves a vendor up the organic list.
Who can be sponsored
Only listed vendors in good standing. A paused, suspended or closed vendor is never shown, and sponsored cards follow the same availability and verification labels as every other card.
Recommendations
"Available on your date", "In your budget" and "Top rated near you" are recommendations, never paid placements, and each explains itself.
